Trey Ferguson

As an instructor:  Trey attended NIKE All-American Camp consecutive years while in high school and received basketball lessons from Vince Carter (North Carolina), Evan Eschmeyer (Northwestern), Corliss Williamson (Arkansas), Loren Woods (Wake Forest) as they coached his teams there.  Trey also helped lead camps in the Hoover area for a Young Guns Skill Clinic with Beau during consecutive years.  Trey can teach young athletes nearly every position on the basketball floor and he enjoyed his versatility in the game.

 

As a player:  Could play anywhere from two guard to the low post.  Trey was one of Alabama’s finest high school players in 1999.  Trey was known as an extremely gifted athlete who could shoot the three-point shot, rebound the basketball and finish the fast break with a dunk to bring down the house.  Trey had national recognition from early high school years on into college.  Trey played alongside Marvin Stone (Kentucky/Louisville) as well as Jason Williams (Duke/Chicago Bulls) as he toured the country playing AAU and putting on basketball clinics for players.

 

Trey played 1999-2001 under Jeff Lebo @ Tennessee Technological University in Cookeville, TN.  Trey transferred to Kentucky Wesleyan College (Division II) to finish his career.  Trey graduated magna cum-laude with a degree in Business in May 2003.  Trey received his Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Alabama Birmingham in May 2005.

     

Trey is a second generation college basketball player as his father Neil played basketball at Birmingham Southern (AL).

Beau Green

As an instructor: Beau has learned from attending camps as a player such as Five-Star and Rick Pitino’s basketball camp as well as the instruction Beau received throughout high school.  Beau played for highly acclaimed Curtis Turley at Daviess County High School which provided a super core knowledge for the game.  Beau has also worked numerous camps and led a few as the Head Camp Director of Activities as well.  Beau has a real passion for the game of basketball and hopes to make a difference in lives of many young aspiring athletes.

    

As a player: Beau was known as an unselfish player, although a real threat from the perimeter…worked extremely hard and was very speedy with the ball…could knock down the perimeter jumper and developed a consistent jump shot off the dribble.  He could lead the fast break and had tireless stamina.  Beau played point guard and finished his career playing shooting guard.

   

Beau played 2000-2001 as a walk-on @ the University of Louisville under Hall of Fame Coach Denny Crum.  Beau then transferred to his hometown to play at Kentucky Wesleyan College (Division II) in Owensboro, KY.  He finished his career by red-shirting then playing his final two years at Samford University in Birmingham, AL.  Beau received his degree from Samford University in May 2005 in Business Administration.
