Academics comes first, misbehave=sidelines

We have a very strict policy for our players, grades come first. If you aren’t making it in the classroom, you won’t be participating in the games. Parents at any time can have their child miss one of our practices due to academic reasons. That in no way affects their playing time. If a player on our team misbehaves in school, not only do they suffer, but the entire team will then suffer. If we hear that our players are getting in trouble for various reasons at school, we start by reprimanding the entire team and say we don’t want to hear any of that. If one of our players is said to have misbehaved in school, we at that point will discuss with the parent and decide proper next steps. No player is larger than the team. We all know that.
